| Just Common! |
 Our Dutch Consultant Felix van der Marel came up with a nice small report from last week. "After preparing myself for a trip to France I decided to give it a quick
go for just one night here in Holland. Allready the temperature is going down fast but the watertemperature is still warm enough for the carp to be active! But still it was a clear and cold night and the only fish we saw was a common a couple of hours past midnight for a friend of mine. After being back in the sleepingbag to warm up again I had a few beeps and hooked in to a big bream. Still that was not the fish I expected and after the first morning light arrived I also didn't expected to hook up on something else. But as strange things can go certainly on a big water like this it all took a different turn. Because while I was making pictures of the other common my mate caught I had a screaming run. That resulted in a lovely Dutch cold common that pulled the scale to 30,8 lb! So....Never say never! Get out there the best time of the year....also for instant fishing on big lakes....is now!"
