MANDATORY SKILLS

The candidate possesses a set of skills enabling him/her to manage a marketing project from the idea phase to the content is ready for publishing on the respective media platforms:

• Capable of planning and timing content creation on a detailed level in line with the marketing plan
• Able to create a narrative and a story board
• Skillset as a videographer:
  • (Carp) Fishing – knowing the details and techniques
  • Creation of B-roll – Macro level such as nature settings and environment
  • B-roll Details level: Products incl. studio footage
  • Perspectives in video footage: Handheld, long-term, drone and underwater footage will be required
• Video editor –  creating a video or a series of videos in line with the marketing objective emphasizing USP and ‘the marketing story’
• Storyteller - meaning creating the narrative and convert it into video easily accessible to the target group
• Entertainer – not necessarily as an ‘actor’, an influencer or in other position in front of the camera but in terms of storytelling, creativity and visual appeal and likeability
• Still photography
• Is a carp angler or possess comprehensive experience on the topic of carp fishing from a similar position

Personal skills and characteristics:

• Is an independent and self-driven individual
• - yet still a team player
• Willing to work unsociable hours
• Speaks and writes fluently in English, and Dutch
• Preferably possess knowledge on other types of fishing than carp fishing incl predator fishing and cat fishing

The Tool Box (Mandatory):

• As a professional cameraman the candidate is experienced in terms of operating all sorts of standard video cameras incl action cameras and drone cameras
• Similar level of skills are required in terms of sound and audio. The candidate must master audio recording in nature as well as in the studio
• Experienced with video editing software such as Premier Pro
• Familiar with light graphical tasks and tool for creation of fx. as thumbnails for YouTube in and motion graphics for videos

Other (not mandatory) skills and characteristics:

• General understanding of marketing strategy and marketing communications is a big advantage
• Skills within Social Media Management – such as
  • Basic FB: Posts, stories, video, Live streams
  • Basic IG: Posts, carousels, stories and reels
  • Basic YT: Video management and upload: Titles, descriptions, keywords and playlists
• An influencer and/or an opinion-maker in the region
• The owner/manager of a strong and relevant range of media channels
• Experience for working at carp-angling events: In-store, Shows, Den Bosch etc
• Liaise with team of anglers
• Can converse in German and French
